How we collect consent
End users opt in verbally during a phone call or in-person meeting with a West Boulder Capital team member. Before any number is added, the team member states that West Boulder Capital would like to send business text messages to that mobile number; describes the message content (replies to questions the recipient sends us, coordination of calls and meetings, follow-ups on transaction or diligence items, and occasional operational notices to staff); states that message frequency varies and is typically fewer than five messages per month; states that message and data rates may apply; explains that the recipient may reply HELP for help and STOP at any time to opt out; and directs the recipient to our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
The team member then asks for explicit consent — “May we text you at this number? Yes or no?” — and the number is recorded only if the person answers yes. Each consent is logged with the date, the number, and the team member who collected it. Upon enrollment we send a confirmation text identifying West Boulder Capital and restating the HELP and STOP instructions.
End users may also opt in by texting our office line at (737) 271-7914, which begins a conversation with our team. We do not purchase, rent, or import contact lists, and we do not message anyone who has not consented or contacted us first.
